PTC Ice Cream Social
Held outside by the Avoca West playground each year, PTC's Ice Cream Social is a perfect opportunity to meet other parents, staff, and students from both Avoca West and Marie Murphy. We hope you can join us tomorrow, September 14 from 5:30-7 p.m. and enjoy a sweet treat from Kona Ice.

Your participation, insights, and voice matter as we forge a path toward a vibrant and sustainable future for Avoca 37 schools. We encourage you to bring family members or neighbors who live within the district boundaries, including those who do not have children in the district to our upcoming fall community engagement activities:
October 14 from 9 a.m. to noon at Avoca West
October 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Marie Murphy
October 18 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Avoca West
October 25 from 3 to 7 p.m. at Avoca West and Marie Murphy
2023-2024 School/Instructional Fees
The Business Office is collecting 2023-2024 school fees. We encourage you to take advantage of the lower Instructional Fee rate by making a payment by this Friday, September 15.

You can pay online at the Avoca Webstore (3.56% processing fee), cash, or via check payable to Avoca School District 37 (include in the memo the fees for which you are paying). Marie Murphy 8th Grade Car Wash
The 8th Grade Graduation Committee is also seeking parent volunteers to provide supervision during the annual car wash fundraiser and/or to provide supplies. There are three, two-hour shifts and we will need at least 6 to 10 parents to lead each of these 2 hour sessions. Please consider lending a hand by Signing Up Here.

2023-2024 PTC Membership Dues
The PTC is collecting $25 annual membership dues. Paying your dues gives you exclusive access to the directory of district families and helps fund the different community-building events we host.
Cash, check, PayPal, and credit card via the Membership Toolkit app are accepted. To pay for dues via a credit card or PayPal, click here. If you wish to pay via cash or check, please remit to "Avoca PTC" (memo: Membership Dues) and drop it off at your school's front office.
