A collaboration between the PARENT TEACHER COUNCIL and AVOCA SCHOOL DISTRICT 37
The Sizzlin' Strings Orchestra Festival
The Sizzlin' Strings Orchestra Festival will be held on Tuesday March 12th at Marie Murphy School, 7:00pm for family and friends. On Wednesday March 13th the orchestras perform again at 9:00am for grades 3-8. The festival features Avoca West's Concert String and Chamber Orchestras along with all the Marie Murphy Orchestras. 
Kindergarten PARENT Info Night!
When: March 14, 2019, 6:00 p.m.
Where: Avoca West Elementary, 235 Beech Drive, Glenview
Who:  Parents of children that will be turning 5 prior to September 1, 2019 
What: Learn more about the Avoca West Kindergarten Program, meet the teachers, & begin the enrollment process.
Come hear the band play! 
Washburne/Glencoe/Marie Murphy Combined Concert 
When:  Thursday, March 14, 2019 - 7:00 PM  
Where:  Washburne School, 515 Hibbard Rd, Winnetka, IL 
COMMUNICATION COMMITTEE EXPANDING!
The Avoca Board of Education's Communication & Engagement Committee is looking to gain better access to the perspectives of our different stakeholder groups by expanding our current committee to include representation from the community.  Interested in joining?  Please complete this brief application.
