Volunteer at the Fun Fair
Each year, volunteers play an integral role in setting up and running one of the largest school events of the year: the Fun Fair and live Silent Auction. Students, staff, parents, and community members can sign up to help based on their availability and area of interest, while still having time to attend the event! We still need help with setup, check-in, entertainment, floating, carnival games, the teacher raffle, the silent auction, and the teardown. Click Here to Volunteer!
Marie Murphy Volleyball Tournament
Marie Murphy 6th, 7th & 8th graders are invited to take part in the 2023 Marie Murphy Volleyball Tournament, which will be held from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, February 24 in the MM school gym. Students can sign up individually or organize a team of 6-10 players (co-ed allowed). The cost is $15 per player (includes a slice of pizza) and registration/payment should be turned into the front office or given directly to Mr. Henley. If registering a team, one team member should register and pay for the entire team.
Concessions, including snacks, pizza, and drinks, will be available for purchase (cash only), as well as raffle prizes (tickets cash only). The tournament will benefit the MM 8th Grade Graduation. All D37 Families are welcome to attend!

2023-24 Preschool Enrollment
To enroll your child in the Avoca Community Preschool for the next school year, please fill out the 23-24 Preschool Enrollment form. Paper copies are also available in the offices of both schools. Please return the form to Dawn Scaramuzza in the Student Services Office along with a $100 non-refundable application fee.
To register, students must be 3 before the start of the school year. Class size is limited. Once limits have been met, students will be placed on a waitlist. The best way to secure a spot is to submit the form and fee payment as soon as possible. It's highly recommended that 3-year-old students register for the AM class and 4-year-old students register for the PM class.
