After three years, Dr. Sumit Dhar stepped down from his role as President effective in the 2024-25 new school year. We thank Dr. Dhar for his leadership as Board President, and we are grateful to him for his continued service as a Board Member.

A board member's resignation on April 4, 2024, resulted in a vacancy on the Avoca School District 37 Board of Education. Dr. Yoav Sharon was appointed to fill the vacancy at the Board of Education meeting on May 16, 2024.
