Proof of Residency

As part of a new effort to streamline our registration process and ensure all required documents are on file, Avoca School District 37 will host two Residency Days for families who were not able to complete registration for their incoming Kindergarten, 3rd grade, or 6th grade students before June 24th.

Residency Days will take place at Marie Murphy Middle School on the following dates:

  • Monday, June 24 from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Wednesday, July 24 from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

In accordance with Board of Education Policy 7:60, families must provide three (3) proofs of residency and submit a Residency Verification Form before the start of the school year. This includes:

  • One (1) document from Category I
  • Two (2) documents from Category II

Please visit the Avoca School District 37 website for more information or contact the District Registrar, Dawn Scaramuzza, 847-728-4142, [email protected], with any questions or to set up a meeting. Thank you for your support in ensuring a smooth start to the new school year!
