The fifth grade social studies curriculum builds upon the principles of the Illinois Social Studies Standards. Our social studies classes focus on student inquiry and questioning while looking to develop an understanding of the connections between events.
As part of our comprehensive and inclusive units of study we cover ancient civilizations along with relevant cultural and historical contributions.
