Calling All Gift Givers!
The Roots and Shoots club at Marie Murphy is doing a project to help people in need over the holidays. It’s called the Giving Tree. We are looking for volunteers to sign up to support a person for the holidays.
Want to help? It’s simple!
- Sign up to sponsor a person - Use this link
- Receive a wishlist of what they want
- Go shopping for the items on your person’s wishlist
- Roots and Shoots members can wrap your gifts for you if drop them off at Marie Murphy by December 14
- Or, wrap the presents yourself and drop them off at Marie Murphy by December 18!

Holiday Gift Card Fundraiser
The 8th-grade committee is running a holiday gift card fundraiser! Perfect for all of your holiday shopping, a percentage of each gift card purchased through RaiseRight will be donated to the school. Gift cards will be delivered free of charge to the local coordinator. All of your favorite brands are available: Target, Starbucks, Panera Bread, Amazon and more! Northfield Holiday Fest
Looking for family fun? Join the AW Concert Choir at the Northfield Holiday Fest this Wednesday at Clarkson Park. The Concert Choir will sing two winter songs just after 6:00 p.m.

Going Green at the Intercultural Dinner
The D37 Green Committee would like to thank Go Green Wilmette for their continued support, as well as Marie Murphy's Roots & Shoots members, Kalifa H. and Penny D. This terrific team of kids and adults generously volunteered time at our recent Intercultural Dinner. We hosted a low-waste event by using compostable materials and by sorting the waste, and we successfully diverted over 200 pounds of waste from the landfill, in addition to educating the community about composting.
