Illinois Road Bike and Pedestrian Improvement Plan Open House
There will be a public Open House on January 29 at 5 p.m. at the Village Hall Council Chambers (1200 Wilmette Ave.) to share the results of the Illinois Road Bike and Pedestrian Improvements feasibility study. The limits of the study are from Thornwood Ave. to Skokie Boulevard and the proposed improvement consists of building a 10-foot-wide multi-use path along the Village and County parkway, separate from the roadway, ensuring a safe space for cyclists and pedestrians.
Immediately following the Open House at 6:00 p.m., the Village will hold the regular meeting of the Transportation Commission where the feasibility study will be discussed. To provide feedback please contact Ron Milanesio, Project Manager at [email protected].
