2023 Intercultural Night
Intercultural Night is a remarkable opportunity to showcase and appreciate the rich tapestry of traditions, customs, and cuisines that make the Avoca community so vibrant. It is a night where we can embrace our differences, foster understanding, and build lasting connections with one another. 

We encourage you to participate in this memorable evening by sharing your culture's elements through performances, displays, or even volunteering. We hope to see you on November 11 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at Marie Murphy School

Save the Date: 8th Grade Fundraiser 🍕
Why just have a slice when you can make a difference, too? Every bite you take will contribute to unforgettable memories and experiences for our 8th graders when you purchase from Lou Malnati's on Wednesday, November 17. More details to come.

Now Accepting 2023-2024 Staff Innovation Grants Applications
There are two windows for Avoca staff to submit an Innovation Grant proposal for the 2023-24 school year: November 17, 2023, and February 16, 2024. Proposals can be submitted at any time before either deadline.

Applicants will be notified as follows:

  • November 17 applications will be notified by December 13, 2023
  • February 16 applications will be notified by March 12, 2024

Snack Sale Fundraiser

Roots & Shoots Pet Supply Drive

Scholastic Pajama Drive 
We are collecting new sets of pajamas to donate to the Family Focus Program in Evanston. For every pair we collect, Scholastic will donate a new book to a child in need. If you would like to help, please send new pajamas for children ages 3-14 to Avoca West or Marie Murphy between Monday, October 16 and Friday, November 17. Questions?
