About Me: 

I am beginning my 26th year of teaching. I've been teaching at Avoca since 2003. This is my 2nd year in 2nd grade. Prior to that I taught 4th grade for 10 years and 3rd grade for 9 years. I received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education at Illinois State University.  I received my 1st and 2nd Masters' degrees at National Louis University; one in Curriculum and Instruction and the other in Reading Instruction. It's important to me to continue to learn and grow as an educator.
