About Me:
This is my 23rd year of teaching at Avoca West. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University and my Master of Education degree in Reading Instruction from National-Louis University. I have 2 grown children and live in Lake Bluff. I enjoy reading, traveling, hiking, live music, and spending time with my extended family.
My Teaching Philosophy:
I believe that every child learns best in a safe and caring environment. Learning should offer hands on, engaging activities and every child should feel respected and able to express their opinions.
