Superintendent Welcome 2025-2026
Dear Avoca Families,
What a wonderful first day of school! The 2025-26 school year is officially underway, and our buildings are once again filled with the energy that only our students can bring. Seeing our classrooms and hallways come alive today reminded us why we love what we do.
It was a joy to welcome students back, reconnect with familiar faces, and meet those who are new to our schools. The sense of excitement was everywhere through the anticipation of a new class, the joy of reuniting with friends, or the warm greetings exchanged with teachers and staff.
This year, our theme is Welcoming and Belonging. We are committed to making sure every student knows they are valued, supported, and celebrated for who they are. Together, we will create spaces where students feel safe to thrive academically as well as socially and emotionally.
Thank you for entrusting us with your children. We look forward to partnering with you throughout the year to ensure that every student has a successful and meaningful school experience. Here’s to a year filled with curiosity, growth, and moments of belonging for all.
