大家好 ! Hi there, my name is Diana Cole and this is my fourth year at Avoca West. Previously I taught KIDS class, so this is my first year teaching EL and I am loving it! I completed my undergrad at University of Illinois-Champaign Urbana and have also received my Master’s from National Louis University. As a teacher who speaks two languages, I hope to provide support so that all English Learners can achieve success at Avoca West. I love to recognize and celebrate diversity at Avoca West, and last year I started Multicultural Club with Mrs. Miller. A fun fact about me is that I was also a student at Avoca West!
Philosophy of Education
My philosophy of education is to ensure that all my students feel comfortable and safe, so they can grow academically, physically, and emotionally. I believe that every student is unique and has individual needs, and as teachers, it is our job to fulfill those needs.
